With analogue real-time modulation, any pulse shape can be realized with a maximum time resolution or minimum pulse duration of 1 ns.
For the ps range, we offer the BFPS-VRHSP 02, a driver that can generate electrical pulses of < 500 ps in response to a trigger signal. In addition, the BFPS-VRHSP 02 Next Generation features a digitally generated pulse shape. Pulse duration and diode current are set via an RS232 interface, while the BFPS-VRHSP 02 operates in analog mode. For the picosecond range, we offer the BFPS-VRHSP 02, a driver that can generate electrical pulses of < 500 ps in response to a trigger signal. In addition, the BFPS-VRHSP 02 Next Generation features a digitally generated pulse shape. Pulse duration and diode current are set via an RS232 interface, while the BFPS-VRHSP 02 operates in analog mode. All drivers for laser diodes in the Butterfly package offer an integrated digitally controllable TEC driver. The BFPS-VRHSP 02 Next Generation is one of the world’s fastest drivers for seeding applications. The output current of 0 to 2 A provides enough power, to control single-mode diodes with short pulses. Its pulse duration ranges from 500 ps to 34 ns and is addressable via the trigger input signal. There are some protection features and the driver is baseplate cooled. With analog real-time modulation, any pulse shape or minimum pulse duration of of 1 ns can be generated. With the BFSP-VRHSP 02 we offer a specialized driver for ultra-short pulse applications. When a trigger pulse is requested, the driver emits pulses with a pulse duration of < 500 ps. In addition, the BFPS-VRHSP 02 Next Generation features a digitally generated pulse shape. Pulse width and diode current are set via RS232 interface. while the BFPS-VRHSP 02 works analog. All drivers for laser diodes in the Butterfly package offer an integrated digitally controllable TEC driver.
